Rosvita Sensiana from Sikka, Flores was born in 1985 and was raised in an artistic household with her parents involved in the arts and in weaving. Rosvita was herself interested in traditional music and began learning to weave by assisting her mother from primary school age. She subsequently finished secondary school and went on to college. She did not finish college but instead began weaving seriously from 2008. She was first a member of the Bliran Sina group, set up by her father in 1998. In 2013, she formed her own weaving group which was named Watubo. This group, which she currently heads, consists of around 25 members.
Her expertise is in the use of natural dyes, having mastered the entire process from start to finish. She is a member of Perkumpulan WARLAMI and has travelled with the group to the third edition of WITS in Kuching, Malaysia in 2017. She is also a trainer with WARLAMI in Sikka, where she is based, and has also travelled with the group to Belu, also in Flores, as well as to Kapuas Hulu in West Kalimantan and to the Dolok Sanggul regency in North Sumatra
